Sadly, a LYS near the college is closing after several years of operation. I feel bad for the woman who put so much effort into her store, only to see it fail in the end. That said, at 60% off all yarn, I can set aside my grief. Check out my new sock yarn! Good thing I waited too long and all the laceweight was picked over!

I LOVE your new blog too - don't worry - I haven't forgotten my promise to send a little giftie - will post it off this week....
This store was open for a number of years, but I think a combination of just being burned out and competition from the new stores that seem to open up with alarming regularity these days in Sacramento (not that I mind. In fact, I think I'm personally keeping some of them open!) finally did her in.
